A fine feel good moment.
Nicely done Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson.
Good thing Boris had it typed. Maybe the secretaries call him "Boris the (drunken) spider"? :D
There are a few which is typical in the UK at the moment, who think it was a publicity stunt. He is a father and knows a simple letter on headed note paper will make all the difference to the boy. It was his family who released it to the press.
Amazing that there are always a few (the ones who see spaceships every morning) who moan and criticise, and usually politial. I am not political, but thats exactly what I would have said to my kids if a pandemic had hit. Mind you both mine are in their 40's now lol!
At least the Inky spider wrote back and signed it!!!
The letter wasn't a publicity stunt but it was good for public relations and there is nothing wrong with that for someone in the public eye.
The letter cleverly reinforces the government's message about the importance of good hand hygiene in a way that children can easily understand.
