No such thing...corresponding comes with membership.
I do seem to remember some difficulties responding to threads at one time. Been so long I don't remember but it was aggravating. I could read, I could create a new thread but I could not respond. So it is possible there is some quirk with this site for some new people, could be the browser they are using.

Finally, I'm not sure why you can't contact any moderators, when there's a HUGE button at the top right of the forum titled Need Help? Click Here, which is also working fine. :confused:
