I wouldn't worry, the other side said, thought and did far worse, and in some cases still does.
Lotta those propaganda films were made by Hollywood professionals. I've seen a lot of that footage in other propaganda films and in Hollywood movies. Lot of the carrier deck scenes in Tora, Tora, Tora and other came directly from propaganda films. The scene where Charlie Heston dies in a crash was real footage.
