Yep, 7.92 Kurz ammo continued to be made in GDR up to 1961.
Pressumably ammo made in Yugoslavia as well, as the MP44 was retained in use by one of the Yugoslavian Para units right up in the early 1980's.....as seen here.

I think a lot of the guns and ammo that ended up in Syria in the late 80's early 90's was the cache of guns and ammo stocks from Yugoslavia after they finally retired them from service??
Who would have thought it would still be in service half a century later?
