Here you go, from my research which doesn't mean much it was manufactured in 1881 and there were 501 Carbines produce that year also it appears it was the last year of the Model 1873 stamped breech because the next year the Carbine was produced was 1884 and I believe the breech was stamped Model 1884?
Nice lookin' little piece too. There are several here that will be able to fill in the blanks we have...hoping they come along for a look see.
looks like a nice carbine and there are some in that range in SRS book number 3. 146065 or 146670. Sorry to say yours is not listed. Hope this helps.
