What edition of The Bren Gun Saga do you wish to dispose of? I'm not too sure that many/any others in the known universe would consider the first edition to be the bible on the subject.
[B]'THE' [B]Bible is still awaiting Publication!.................
We await...
I'm interested in the Lithgow parts kit... if its in the US.
I am interested in the book
The second edition of the Bren Gun Saga is the one you want. The first edition was done rather quickly due to some rather serious medical problems of the author however he did survive and did clean it up considerably for the second edition. He then passed away as the book was being printed.
There will never be a book that is complete on the Bren as so many of the records were destroyed especially in Canada and a great many misfiled in our archives. I have almost 5000 microfilm plates that I have yet to edit but to get the time and book a reader is the problem.
Enjoy your Bren...they are one of the few classic MG's and never to be repeated. Mind you, the ZB 26 sets the heart a flutter also.
yeh I know, late to reply, as usual.
The book is the 1986 edition, I also have an 1982 print that doesn't mention the Chinese Brens. colfi1@bigpond.com
