I am in need of the following parts for a British No.7 .22
extractor, extractor spring and pin, striker, striker spring and retainer, auxiliary extractor.
If you have any of these parts available, or have parts and would be willing supply a measured photograph or drawings that could be used to reproduce the parts please let me know.

A lot will depend on where you are. Gunparts lists No. 7 Rifle parts under No. 4 Mk I parts, that for some reason they insist on listing under SMLE. Been yelling at 'em for that for years and years.
$22.50US for an extractor. No other No. 7 parts listed. Be worth an E-Mail though.
All those parts are the same as a No. 9 Rifle too.
All the perfectly serviceable(and astoundingly accurate. Even with low end ammo.) No. 7's used by CF Army Cadets, years ago(had 20 on my MIU in the early 80's) have been destroyed by our idiot government.
You could try Western Gun Parts in Alberta. They do not list parts on-line. Strictly a "buy our CD" thing with them.

The British BSA No.7Mk.1 bolt assembly is unique and not even close to interchangeable with the LB No.7Mk.1 or P-H No.9Mk.1. The BSA No.7Mk.1 is a repeater and has a much more sophisticated bolt and magazine assembly along with a heavy duty ejector which is screwed to the body.
I'm guessing that the No.7 parts GPC/Numrich lists are most likely Canadian if they exist at all.
I had a BSA/UK No7 rifle for 30 years and so far as I recall, the only thing that would be difficult to reproduce would be the bolt head and the insert plate part for the No1 magazine. The remainder would be a doddle..., even the ejector. Two parts brazed together with absolutely no (or VERY little) mechanical loading to bear. Extractors could be cut 30 at a time using laser or water jet cutting. As could the aux spring. A simple fly-press jig to shape the slightly cranked end then anneal, harden and temper. I'd have got my teeth into that within a day or so.............

No need to! Up until the late 80's or so the RAF Cadets were still using them and No8's and there were still some spare parts in the RAF 9E spare parts system, taken over my the Army when all 2nd line repairs became the responsibility of the Army.
