No4 Mk1* (s)
After some serious thought I have decided to sell off my lifetime collection. Among these are four .303 British rifles.
1) A No4Mk1* All matching SN EA20254 (ENGLAND) is stamped on the left side above the SN. It is also marked No4Mk1ROF(F) 6/43. The rifle is in otherwise excellent condition brass butt plate etc. The magazine is unnumbered. The rear sight is from a Jungle Carbine. 5 groove barrel. I received a gold medal at the CMP Eastern Games with this rifle.
2) Savage No4Mk1* All matching except for the bolt. SN 28C9954 1942 US PROPERTY marked. Brass butt plate, bolt is mismatched. The magazine is marked with the serial number. The rear sight is from a Jungle Carbine. 2 groove barrel.
3) A Long Branch 1942. No4Mk1* SN 10L4995 44941 Magazine is marked with the serial number. The butt plate is aluminum or some sort of grey metal. 2 groove barrel. I received several gold medals with this rifle at the National Championships. It is equipped with a micrometer rear sight. I still have the original rear sight with is a simple L.
4) SMLE III* SN 93144 BSA 1913 the bore of this rifle is in pretty good shooter condition. It is all matching except the magazine which is unmarked but I understand they were not marked.
I am seeking a fair market value on these four rifles. I would like them to go to a good home. Thanks Andy
