We had a different type for combat use and originally a black hornrim like USA. Our gas mask glasses have changed but the old ones were tough and long lasting for FIELD use only.
BCG glasses may be an understatement. Those are some serious population control.
A friend of mine LOVED those gas glasses for wear after he left the army. I guess he wore them until they gave up on him. Can't imagine...
Jim- I liked the wired rimmed arm ones for shooting to keep the glasses from slipping down my nose while shooting for a long time after I retired from the military. Now I no longer need glasses after my eye surgery to correct my vision issues.
My friend was a VERY sportsy guy and these stayed put too...
