Hello everyone. I recently received a box of bolt action rifle parts. Most parts were Arisaka, Mauser, 1903 Springfield, and M1.
This trigger guard was among the parts which I can't figure out what rifle it comes from.
I wonder if there's an expert out there who recognizes this part.

Appears to be a Mannlicher M95 Trigger Guard but exactly which one, Dutch? Too short. Austrian, again not deep enough... Maybe it was altered a bit?
Thanks Jim - I initially discounted that it was a Mannlicher because it's too shallow, and having no experience with them didn't know what to look for.
Upon closer inspection it does look it was cut and the follower was raised.
Don't know why someone would do that or what they were trying to accomplish, but at least part of the mystery is solved.
