1891 Mauser Identification Help??
I bought this 1891 Argentine Mauser about a year ago with the intent of restoring it. I am pretty sure that the only sporterization that has been done is the shortening of the stock. I have been looking for a replacement ever since, and as I am sure most of you Argentine Mauser guys know, they are rare.
I just learned today that there were several versions of the 91 Argentine Mauser, all varying in barrel length. I have some pictures of mine that I will upload and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me identify this gun and maybe determine if the barrel has been shortened. Thanks!!!!!
