It sure reads like a book doesn't it? Those DP stocks came in from during the '80s and were all snapped up to redo sporters. Looks like a nail used as a pin at the front sight. It needs everything.
Looks like an Indian DP. But the front nose cap looks re manufactured.
No doubt a barreled action from a sported rifle set up in a stock salvaged from an Indian DP.
A noted Canadian dealer with a US presence was humping a similar composite, with quite the tale of the rifle's history, based on the stock stamps. Of course the tale was only relevant to the stock...
