I found this link on another site the other links contained within the site give you all the information you would require to identify your F/S.
I have already learnt mine was a late war production 3rd pattern un-issued and surplussed to the US after the war but ended up here!. Cheers.

The site is well worth staying there and soaking in the information Roy has amassed some very nice knives for sale as well.
