Attachment 92778'Churchill' - That appears to be part of an early model 52 Winchester (target .22) rear sight.
That explains why I couldn't find it when searching for M1903 target sights. Thanks!
That’s exactly what that is. I have the same set on my Winchester 52 Pre-A. I think mine was made in 1927? Smallest aperture I’ve ever seen on mine. They originally wanted to sell the 52 to the military as a 1903 trainer which is why the sights are so similar. Here is a picture of mine. Complete with second bizarre sling swivel.
