Hey all!
I'm a new member here, but I've "sniped" this forum on occasion for information.
I'm into a lot of different militaria and related stuff: French Indochina, British Malaya, Aussie bushcraft, early Vietnam U.S., etc. My favorite rifles are the US M1896/1898 Krag, US M-1903 Springfield, and British WWI through post-WWII Enfields.
Was in the US Army for 10 years. Have most recently worked as a historian and archaeologist, carpenter, and farmer. I live in North Carolina.
Thanks!

Hello: Newbie member, shooter & collector since 1960's. Now putting together a No. 4 MKI T sniper to get through the Summer & Fall shooting seasons.
Not technically a new member here, but this is my first post. I have just been reading and lurking for years. Some of you may know me as a Mosin guy from other Forums, but I like about everything.
Thanks!

Hi,
Not really a new member, have been reading enjoying the forums and knowledge library for a while.
I've recently started acquiring more milsurps- Krag-Jorgensen, Mosins, SKS, P38s, K98k and modelo 98s, and hoping to get a James River M1 garand and maybe an M1 Carbine this year- so I guess you can say I've started a collection.
Looking forward to to more great information and maybe even contributing some!
Also on CGN under the same name.

Hi Guys,
New member here, found something I think is an old military item at a garage sale and got interested in finding out more about it.

The inches per yards make me think this is gun related, is anyone able to tell me what this is and if it has any value?
Thanks guys.
