I came across this Fiocchi .223 Orange Polymer Tip Rounds 50 gr. (.223 HVA50 50GRS V-MAX Polymer TIP BT) and says 3300 fps from Muzzle and they were on Sale for 200 Rounds for 89.00. I never used this Ammo in a Carbine and was wondering if anyone knows what to expect out of 50 gr at that Velocity. I'm shooting it out of a 1:8 Ratio Barrel. I've heard Good things and Bad things about this Ammo. I will be finding out in about 3 weeks when my B-I-L comes down for a visit. But any information what to watch out for like Caked Up after using it or how bad this will get all inside the M4. Like I read Primer Problems, Loading and Feeding problems . I still have 60 rounds of 52 gr. or 54 gr. of 5.56 to use up. I have been reading reviews, but would love some first hand experience if anyone has tried it. Will this be good enough for my guest or should I order a different brand before the end of next week when he gets here. I always like to use different ammo for performance testing, but really like to get reviews from first hand users. Thanks Guys in Advance if anyone has anything to say about it.
