Hambone you are correct, As several years ago I had included that gun on a list of guns I was selling, but I had removed it from the list. Possibility you missed that I had removed it. As far as the $600 dollar price referenced, that is most likely the price of the gun that was posted in an attempt of price comparison on another site where I also posted seeking a value of mine. That gun's rear sight has been replaced with a non original civilian one and removing it would damage/leave evidence of the removal. Other wise it was a nice gun, but it should not be used as a price comparison for an original one. There has been mention of a $1000 value here and on the other site, but with out any description as to correctness or condition of those guns. Again, I do not feel the gun is worth big bucks, Unique and fairly rare yes, but still only a Maltby Mark III and maybe just worth some what more then just the average Maltlby. It could even be a museum representative piece. All I wanted to do was just get a collector's educated estimated value of it. I honestly feel it might be worth a little more then a thousand dollar which if so, I would be very happy with, considering I only paid $100, for it ten or fifteen years ago..Ray .
