I found most of these marks here: http://www.phoenixinvestmentarms.com...Proofmarks.pdf
But, I can't seem to find the 6-pointed star marks?

OK lads, I 've just been away for a couple of weeks, so I may have lost the plot with regard to rifle markings. However, as no-one else has yet posted an answer, this one should be at least good for a laugh until the real answer turns up...
The marking on the left looks most like a Hebrew "tsadi" or TS sound. Take a look at an Israeli Mauser, if you have one to hand.
The marking in the right looks most like a Hebrew "nun "or N sound.
Such letters in 6-pointed star markings were used by the IDF as inspection marks. My interpretation is therefore:
Ex-British police/prison service gun acquired and remarked by the Israelis.

Thanks, Patrick. I never did post the 3rd such mark.

A gent from another board stated (as you have) that the same marks show up on Israeli K98's.
