You would think the buyer would have spent more time doing some carbine research and less time trusting in the sellers A+ feedback rating when spending that much money. He must have really needed an IP receiver.

I passed on a mechanically tight Colt 1903 at an auction Monday night.
With a very very nice reblue. Sharp lines but nearly no slide marking anymore.
I would've been happy with it at $300 but another fella was happy at $420.
If he doesn't realize it's a reblue, he's probably pretty happy.
Can't imagine going into a $10k purchase with that kind of ignorance but I don't make the type of money required to buy any kind of $10k gun. I can't speak to the mind frame of someone worth millions of dollars, for example.
Maybe it's just a Brewster's Millions situation :runaway:
