Where did those guns come from?
I was listening to Hernando Revolver on Fox this AM and he started in about American guns being sold to Mexicans. I was looking at pictures of these weapons and it hit me, they came from Columbia, Peru, and other parts of South America. They were sold to the Mexican drug lords along with the cocaine. Where did the guns come from originally? Remember, these are grenade launchers, M-16s and I even saw an M-60. They came from the corrupt militaries of those countries, Uncle Sugar gave them the guns.
But the liberals want everyone to believe that fully automatic M-16s were bought at a pawn shop in El Paso.
If a liberal came in my yard, my border collie would herd them, she thinks they are sheep.
gun sales from border states
I have no doubt that some munitions and firearms are going into mexico from the border states. The dealer mentioned by one poster is not far from my house altho I have not ever been in the store. The border is a very porus place.
Having said that, a lot of these guns are stolen from the mexican military, or brought into mexico from further south.
I take it with a certain amusement, not really, that mexicans will allow uncontrolled emigration to the U.S., repatriation of money, drug related or otherwise to mexico, and can't figure out how to seal the border on THEIR side, thus ending the problem of firearms importation. Course, I also read the report done in december at a joint conference between mexico and the U.S. where the U.S. idiot was talking about full auto weapons being sold out of gun stores in arizona. We have been trying to figure out WHICH store, which is idiotic to even think about it.
A couple of years ago, some federales were busted by the way at a crossroads gun show here in phx trying to buy weapons.
