Interesting Auction twist...
I don't know if this is the right forum for me to post this question, apologies in advance if it is not.... I called up an auction company yesterday to inquire about a gun that I saw listed at their upcoming auction. It had been SOLD at a previous auction at the same auction house. I asked the guy a couple of questions about the gun itself, then asked him if there had been a limit on the gun that had not been reached, etc. He said that they were relisting/reselling it because the buyer would not or could not pay for the gun. Huh? Doe auction houses do that often???? It seems very odd to me - I thought these things were final, you bid and you win, you own it. No flexibility. Is something fishy going on or is this perhaps a standard procedure for their better customers?

Looked over a Star PD and then bid as it "came up" for bid some time later in the day.
I didn't realize that there were two.
The one I got STILL NEEDS THE SEAR REPLACED!
Oh, the third time I attended this auctioneer's sale I realized some of the guys bidding never carried anything out.
