I think if a man sent a pattern to them for reproduction, they could pantograph about anything. Would that ever be valuable...

Well, I'm impressed....... Just ordered the full set for the old girl.
My 1916 LSA restoration was also a full new reproduction stock set, although not from Prestige, made using the same technique. The results were very pleasing. It takes more work inletting and bedding than a No4, specifically to get the nose cap to fit properly, and to get the correct bed on the draws, with no gaps. To get a good finish I had to sand and apply boiled linseed oil many times. A very enjoyable project though.
Cheers,
Burton.
What wonders one can preform with a hacksaw and some Tru-oil.
Please post after photo eye candy.
Got a shipment notification already! I emailed them a question about how the wood is shaped around the mag cut off. About 20 minutes later, I had a picture that answered my question. Pretty impressed so far.
Here are few pics of the stock set from Prestigious Wood Stocks out of Canada. I am not in town so I cannot "pet" them yet.
Looks good so far.
Looks like nice material, lots of extra there on the front. Looks like you'll have lots to do when you slim it down...
