Peter, I have two rifles of interest. The process/techniques and advice I'm interested in will be applied eventually to a real No 1 Mk 5. I am using the "wannabe" No 4 cut job as a test bed. If I can turn this piece around, then the real job will be much easier. Also, if I mess anything up on the look-alike, then I certainly won't be too upset about it. So not quite a misunderstanding.
