Well just got a 2nd No 1, Mk I*** Lee Enfield

It came today and it's another No 1, Mk I*** Lee Enfield that ended serice in Ireland with the Free Irish National Army like my first one.
Here's the post here on the first one I bought about a month ago.

I was not planning on buying a 2nd one but nuts then I saw it on line and it was priced $300 cheaper then I paid for the first one and I couldn't stand it to see one for going for less then I paid, you know the feeling. So thought the best thing to do was to buy the cheaper one also to make me feel better.

The metal and bore on this one are in excellent condition, the stock looks like Linseed oil was applied. The only problem I find is that it's missing the screw that secures the rear sight guard and the screw in the bolt. Will have to find replacements, any ideas of where to get them.
It's also missing the cut off but I already had an extra one and screw and the ad mentioned it was missing. I think the $525 I paid for it was fairly reasonable.
Would it be safe to shoot w/o the bolt screw? Ray

Isn't that a somewhat scarce version of Lee Enfield?

Great looking item . . . !

It's a fairy scarce model made only about 4 years having the clip guide on the bolt but not as scarce as an un-modified one., My rifle is a Mk I*** which means it had received some Mk III upgrades. I don't know if the Irish connection makes it any scarcer or desirable.

An update, a couple of years ago I bought a baggie for $5, containing a number of misc. Enfield parts and screws. I bought it for the rear handguard that was in it as I thought it was a Long Lee one. I didn't look that close at it until I got home and then saw it was a MkIII rear handguard that had the legs cut off.
Anyway I had forgotten about it but then I remembered there were some screws in the bag and I went and looked and there was the bolt screw and the double screw for the rear sight protecter. Now all I need it the front stock pressure bolt/pin which I discovered is also missing, the spring for it is in the baggie. I installed the cut off I already had on the rifle. Also the seller is reimbursing me $25 because of the missing screws, Ray
