Correct: US produced 30-06 ammunition by Remington Arms for the RAF .30 Browning machine gun.
Loaded with special powder for aircraft machine guns but also issued to US ground troops in the Philippines
Has heavy primer crimp to allow use in aircraft M1917 Marlin MGs sent as aid to Britain.
I thought it was loaded with improved powder and staked primer for the synchronized Browning 30 cal machine guns example: P-35, P-36 and P-40B
An early Winchester Repeating Arms .303 Ball with a 4 point staked primer for the Browning M.G's in aircraft for those that may not know why they were staked it was to stop the primer backing out or possibly falling out after firing causing a jam in the gun.
