Eddystone Stock Mod Update-Project Finished Pics
Well I salvaged the sporter stock and turned it into this. Natural point of aim with the aperture sight is perfect for me. See previous project posts. This will do until I find an affordable good milsurp stock.
Until then I will just have to go to the range with it this way. No crying here! Came out good. I am happy:

Removed the high cheek riser. Reshaped it to my liking. Stripped and sanded the wood. Gave it five coats of BLO and a couple of coats of furniture wax:

The stock did not have a cross bolt, so I used a quarter inch threaded rod and some furniture assembly recessed hex nuts. Set it all into the wood with JB weld. On the rod threads too.
