Hello fellows,
Would be more collectible an Inland with SN 2490XX or an Inland SN 5,038,7XX? The 2nd one has less wear.

Is that 249,0xx or 2,490,0xx?
Thanks, I didn't think about that! Since that is the case, the 6-digit 249,0xx would, IMHO, have more value since that is an early rifle and one of the first batch of Inland's manufactured for the war. As always, condition and originality of parts are also important factors to consider.
Hello Singer,
Its a 6 digit 249,0XX

The 6 digit one has more wear, the handguard, bolt and barrel is Inland and the rest of the parts are Rock Ola.

If you can post pictures of both rifles, the true experts on this site can give you the best advice.
@Singer B
I believe Eddy is talking about the Inland with the cut down barrel and Mid rear sight, he posted here:

The Mexican Pimp Carbine
I think he was asking if I used "Singer" in reference to the 500 1911A1's built by Singer and which are considered by some to be the "holy grails" of 1911's. Of course, if anyone has one for sale for less than 5,000, I will be happy to take it.....okay, 10,000......okay, I'll take out a second on the house for a 100,000.....
