I picked this one up a while back at what I can only consider a bargin since it wasn't any more than what a nice Finn captured 91/30 would go for. What drew my attention was that it has a barrel date of 1947, and that it isn't an ex-sniper ( all 1947 PU's have a YR pre-fix). All Russian records indicate that only PU snipers where produced in 1947 so one can only assume that this rifle didn't make the grade. It is your typical Soviet mix-master refurb with EP'ed parts, a scrubbed tang, and a pristine bore.
