Not even an Armourers tool either! And a useless tool to boot.
It was made to lock the adjustment of the Mk1 and 2 telescopes but it was totally crap. The Mk2 tool was a one handed tool but was even worse. There was a far better pair of tools issued to the Armourers shops.
The technical term is "Utterly bonkers".
On the other hand, if those are genuinely achieved prices and not a load of shill bidders, then I could significantly boost my retirement income by shipping every Enfield bit I can lay my hands on to Oz! Or am I making a serious mistake and the Aussie dollar is only worth 20 cents?
the A$ still = 100 cents... boom boom tish.
currently 1 euro = A$1.56
peter, they may be useless, but nearly everyone with a mk1 or 2 scoped rifle wants one in their scope tin.
Thats why I am glad I have a Mk III and do not require the third hand needed to operate that tool on the drum of a Mk I ~II as PL has alluded in the past, sometimes I think the weapons development sections like to build in frustration factors or decide to over complicate things just to make the grunts life or the amourers life just that much more miserable trying to figure out any easier way to accomplish adjustments of any type be it sights or o/hauling......
Or as was mentioned before in the past by some here, "Crunchies"have a knack of knakering the un-knakerable (New word)
