I got the knifle a very long time ago and would like to know the pattern ? The blade is 6 7/8 inches long, there is a small ^ 12 stamp and a faint ENGLAND stamp. Would this be considered the 2nd or 3rd pattern ? Thanks Robert

It's a WWII era 3rd pattern.

According to Ron Flook 167000 were stamped ENGLAND before being imported into the US. The sheaths were also stamped with country of origin.
