Doing a bit of searching on the ol' GunBroker and ran across this one.
No affiliation, just showing a nice Krag. It ain't cheap but I don't think you'd regret this one. Nice looking rifle!
I wouldn't normally post an auction (to avoid stepping on bidder's toes) but the opening bid is $599 and the BIN is $649. Not much of an auction, haha.

Shes a nice one but man what a price tag for a sporter.
Krag, #272262, would have been manufactured as a rifle, around June to August, 1900.
It was made about a year after model 1899 carbines had come into production.
Model 1898 carbines are numbered approximately between #117536 and #140195.
