Barrel clearing tool
Hi Folks.. one for the Brits & Commonwealth gang perhaps...?
Attachment 109848
This is a Parker Hale Armourer's Barrel clearing tool. It is used for hoiking (.. technical term!) broken pull throughs out of Lee Enfields..
My problem is that the hooky bit (.. another technical term!) on the end is missing and I have no idea what it looks like!
(..draws a deep breath!)
Any Ideas?

Didn't even know it existed...ours just worked by main force and awkwardness to extract our miseries.

To grasp the end of a pull-through; either the weight or the other end, (I'll call it the "shank") one would expect some sort of a collet "chuck", I assume the function of the threaded collar would be to draw that up against the end of the tube so as to tighten the collet in the usual way(?)
Pondering how one would get the collet over the end of the weight or "shank" of the pull through, I suppose it would have to be inserted from the end opposite the cord as a few inches of that would completely obstruct any contact with the weight or "shank".
