well, it does have front and rear site.
looks right. has a small P on top and has the 2 tone finish.
looks pretty good. not abused.
any thoughts?

Common Rem Rand GI slides are bringing $200-$250 so a US&S if it were mine in that condition should sell in the $300-$350 range. I have a correct High Standard barrel in about the same condition as the slide if you need one.
Why not offer it to forum members first?
I hate ebay.............
I think these estimates im getting are a bit low.
can you post me someone elses for those low prices?
Doubt seriously that there's another one like it on the market but finding the correct frame would be even more difficult. Post it for what ever figure you're comfortable with. I'd ask $350 but maybe you'll be luckier. besides, you can always come down.
If you go high then someone will PM you eventually and make you an offer... Eventually you'll sell it.
yep, I know that game well.
had it now 17 years.
issue I find is all the correct guns are so worn out, putting this like new slide on it doesn't appeal to the collectors.'i had a hs bbl at one time. had all the parts assoc with it too. it was a complete correct upper.
even then....no one wanted it.
odd game indeed.
it turned out to be one of the biggest busts in my gun collecting I ever made. I thought for sure a uss slide would be wanted a little better than 350.00.
im just gonna have to say to myself, the market must be off, because they sure were worth more 17 years ago!
thanks for everyone inputs.
know anyone with a north american for sale? let me know.
Stuck,
I sold a beautiful US&S about 17 years ago and the entire gun brought $1200, which was good at the time. Colts with matching slides were going for 2/3's of that. The slide is a screamer but as is the case with many rare items I've had, the scarcer the item, the more limited the market. Maybe someone, somewhere has a nice US&S frame with the wrong slide with firing proofs the same size who is willing to pay a lot but what's more likely, is that the slide will go for far less to a buyer who is speculating that HE'LL find a frame. When that doesn't happen, it'll be sold at a show to one of the gun magicians who will "create" a frame. It's a great piece and I wish the seller luck.
thanks guys.............
