I am curious if you guys have heard anything about those 1911s. I am not getting my hopes up, but it would be neat to get them.

Just remember that there will be no cherries to pick with these. Anything even remotely collectable will go to the CMP auction. As far as I know none have yet been released so as to when, who knows. But a rack grade for $1000+ is a dumb move and that is what I was told they are starting at.

Congressman Rogers’ amendment passed late last night with the FY2018 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The legislation will now move to the House floor and go to the Senate. Read more at Rogers: NDAA Good for East Alabama | Congressman Mike Rogers. The CMP has no further information at this time.

Yup and once at the house they will make their own version of the bill. Then both the house and senate will have a committee that will meet and take both bills line by line and things that are the same will remain. If one is different then they vote on it and if passed it goes into the final bill. If not passed it's kicked out of the bill completely. So it's still not a guaranteed thing yet. Once done the bill goes back to both the house and senate for a final vote and then to the President to sign.
These will be mix masters and anything good goes to auction, buckle up buttercup. As said before lower grades start around $1100.00 with tax.
I heard they were going to be auctioned off, with a starting bid of $2999.
Just kidding, sorry you spewed your coffee. But i will be close. Hype and lots of clamoring make for stupid high prices.
