So, if I show up with a carrier of two...we can take it out for a couple shots? Maybe somewhere up in Brecon where we can't hurt anyone? Throw it all in the car and go?

Jim,
As you know, as a Trustee of our Regimental museum, we needed a Charlie G for a display, and would you believe there wasn't one deac available through the usual MOD unit, so I decided to make one, and a spare for me as in the picture.
I bought oddments for them both, such as the telescopic sight, and handles and covers and Bob's your uncle. The Venturi doesn't open but someone with a decent cutting saw could achieve it easily, to accept the drill round!!;)
It looks pretty convincing. I had to carry one of those for five days on my Inf Pl 2I/C course. Seemed nobody else wanted it. As you know, fire and movement with the 84 can be a pig when you're already beat.
Back in the day when I was a Super Grunt, we were on exercise with little sleep in a few days.
We were tasked to establish an OP on a particular ridgeline in the dark.
One big beefy member was carrying the CG, when we finally got established I did a head count....one short.
So off back down the mountain I went....found the gun before the gunner, sticking up out of the mud like a marker on a grave, the digger curled up out of the mud snoring.....boy were we beat.....bloody hard work back then.
Yes, It's Looks Cool Too.
Great weapon in the right hands!
Well, the height of a 66mm LAW ..
I'm going to try it for size in a slightly different attitude shortly, i.e. parallel to the horizontal and report back.
It's Great But It's Little Bit Small But It's Still Good Tho.
