Adj rear sight, Hi wood stock, type 2 band, 4 rivit handguard, interesting.
The barrel in the second picture is either a very light gray phosphate or one of the unfinished barrels that have been seen once in awhile. Don't ask me how an unfinished barrel got on a Carbine but I have seen one and heard of others.
I had the same thought about the lack of bayonet lugs too..............interesting. :cool:
I also thought the first one was an M1A1, but it isn't. :nono: Its a zipper pull on his jacket.
Don't see a type 2 band, in either pic..........:confused:
The guy in the second pic definitely needs a "winter trigger attachmet". :madsmile:
Jim, I think that is a type I band. The spring comes out to the leading edge of the band and not to a hole in the band.Quote:
