I looked at a lot of posts on different forums on the 1911's they were getting and I think I did real good. It's a service grade and I couldn't be happier. I see two RIA stamps and two flaming bombs and two Frank Krack initials so it was at the RIA arsenal twice but it doesn't appear to have had any parts changed except the barrel and I doesn't appear to have been refinished. I haven't taken it apart so the idiot scratch came with it.
