This little CZ27 is in beautiful condition with Nazi Commercial proofs. What is unusual is the electro pencilling of the serial number on slide and frame. I have not seen the like before.

Back in the late 60's early 70's. many police departments would lend out an electric pencil for people to engrave their property with part or all of the Social Security numbers. This helped deter thief or if an item was stolen it could be identified as to the owner. Many firearms were done to show ownership. This was before they had the instant check systems of today. It did deface many firearms over the years.
It has no serial number other than the one electro pencilled in two places.
It looks like European cursive. Maybe a Russian capture?
WWII bring back according to family. No further details or paperwork.
Could have been picked up at the factory when over run by the US army and was finished except for the serial number or a cigarette gun put together from parts.

A few pistols with the 'BOHMISHE" slide legend are without serial number and bear a Nazi eagle 4 and a U prefix number etched on the slide. These may have been pre-military production test pistols.
