Thanks for the add. Hope to gain some valuable insight here. I'm a novice collector/shooter and currently have a MKIII Ross, K-98, a Savage-Enfield and my favorite, a M-1 Garand.

Hi Trumpetfirst,
I think I messed up my last Email, so I'll try again.
You've got a nice collection of rifles, the K98 is a nice rifle to shoot, I would love a Garand but semi-autos are banned here in the UK and it would be a crime to butcher it for single-shot.
What sort of ranges do you go to, I'm a member of an indoor range and an outdoor one (of course) with reactive targets up to 1400m, good fun but the indoor range is good for zeroing and testing loads.
Hello folks, just dropping by this thread to say howdy.
First centerfired rifle I shot was Dad's Jungle Carbine clone, about fifty years ago. We used it as a general ranch rifle, and it accounted for quite a few coyotes. I've still got it, and shoot it occasionally (it's a Santa Fe conversion). Over the years I've picked up real No.5's, and various other Enfields, plus quite a few other milsurps, plus belt feds - Vickers, Schwarzlose, M1919's, BAR's, FND's, etc. All it kit form, unfortunately, but I've also managed to accumulate quite a few receiver pieces. Once I fully retire and move I'll start building those as semi's, unless I get some strange urge to become an SOT.
Hi I am new to the forum. I have been collecting military surplus rifles for about 6 years. My current focus is Swiss, Spanish and Israeli rifles but I admit a fascination with anything old and bolt action.

hello i could use some help on getting information about an original Sharp's 52-70 carbine serial # C, 13984
Hello, this is my first post. I have a few military rifles all of which use brass cartridges (1873 and newer).
I just purchased a M1917 Enfield which appears to be a "Short Rifle", as in reworked for the Chinese Army in early WWII. This rifle appears to be probably not ever issued, so I'm starting the process of verifying the true identity of this rifle.
I fired it last week, it kicks like a mule....
I don't see too much info on the CBI rifles, so please point me in the right direction
Hi Guys,
I am a .22 LE shooter based her in Northern Ireland. I started my shooting career with a No8 and a No 4 rifle at college, moved on to larger and noisier things and am returning to basics with a No9 ex RN trainer.
