I only have the collet puller because I buy a lot of salvage ammo and I got tired when using my Kinetic Bullet Puller - now that's a REAL pain to pull a batch of bullets.

I got one of them hammer types I use , had for many years . Use it when I seat a bullet to far in the case or loaded some test rounds and saw real quick wasn't working . If I had more chances on getting old rounds that was just bought for the bullets then shooting might invest in a real bullet puller . Each their own .
I started out with the hammer type, used it for a long time and works great on one or two rounds; and even better for de-construction of handloads Quick and Simple! But when you have hundreds of military surplus ammo that old. crimped, and some with sealer.. hammering ain't getin' it LOL - just screwing and unscrewing the cap and fiddling with the o-ring captured collet 100 ~ 200 times make a person crazy.
Yep. That’s my case right now. Everybody gives me the ammo they find on the WWI battlefields around here. So I have Mauser and Carcano as much as I want, but I don’t even try with my kinetic hammer. Impossible!
I use the RCBS Collet puller. It doesn't really cost that much more than a Hammer Puller. Every time I get a new caliber I just get the collet off eBay

I’ll check it. Thanks!
Luckily most of the time I need to pull a bullet is when I am trying to seat a new bullet and went a little to deep . The most bullets I had to pull was 20 once . And that did get old having to unscrew each time and all and my wife yelling what are you doing back there !. I was making test loads for 30-06 and been trying different bullets out and I tested one set of bullets and meant to load another type of bullets but reloaded the 1st set of bullets all over again .!!!! #*!!%!! . Was not happy . If I ever have to do more then 10 I would get me a real puller !!!!!
Get the collet puller. You'll thank yourself when you need it.
