I bought the rifle from a guy in Meaford Ont so perhaps it did come from the Army cadets. I'll see if the guy who sold the rifle to me knows anything else.

I located a NOS 1903 barrel, its a WW2 RIA 2 groove barrel. The 1903 I have was rebarrelled and has a 44 marked barrel. I assuming that the new barrel will fit? Any comments?

I have an old Indian FN with one of those fugly thumbhole stocks. I like to mod it, chop the barrel, add a different flashhider and get a new stock. Any sources for this out there?

There got to be spare parts still left out there, cleaning kts and the like. Too bad this stuff can't be declared "surplus" and disposed of by crown assets.
