The COA I got from Sandy today says the rifle was sold as a rack grade, so it was a complete rifle.
That's what I thought too. Hard to believe that a huge collector of premium Garands would have had this done. Now I start looking for a stock. Pretty sad day for me.....the rest of the rifle is...
I purchased 4250808 at the estate auction for Harry E. Peabody a longtime military firearms collector. The two day auction had over 100 Garands in it and one caught my eye because it was an 0-66...
