Anything can be forged. With that said to duplicate these it would cost some $$$ and time. I have never in 40 years of collecting knuckle knives ever seen one of these forged.

Not military issue but private purchase by individuals. The are called Shipley knuckles as they are in Shipley sheaths. It is unknown who actually made them WW2 era.

The one on the left I purchased at the Tulsa gun how a couple of years ago. The one on the right I purchased from Bill Wright this year at the SOS/National Gun Day Show.

No markings on the sling. Oiler is marked II. Butt plate is pictured below. The stock does not bother me as it is part of the carbines history. This one is a VET bring back....

Extra points are scarcer, but they are around. I had 3 of them, sold one recently. Condition is everything on these, without pictures it is impossible to determine value. That being said 0.00- 1000.00
