My 1929 SA 03 came with a 1919 Avis barrel, and an SA GAW 03 scant stock. Hardware was SA 03 except the bolt, which was a Commercial Controls replacement bolt.

Muzzle loaders, antique or new made, are exempt from federal regulations. Cartridge arms have to be pre 1899 to be exempt. Local regulations may regulate transfer or ownership.

Original replacement scant stocks are fairly common. I've seen them on e-bay and elsewhere. I may know someone who would be interested in the stock. Let me know what it's worth to you.

I'm thinking of purchasing a US marked Stevens 620 locally. It has a Weaver El Paso compensator on it. Did they use these shotguns for gunner training like the Remy M11s, or is this an add on?
