Super cool! I really like the flame like pattern of the wood you did.
Any plans to get an original .276 caliber barrel done too?

It does need some gloss now, so curious to see how it will become after oiling and steel wool.
The dark stain makes the cut almost invisible in the overall picture. Very nice!
Your front end restoration looks so excellent that if you had not posted the pictures showing the process, most would otherwise would consider it just a weird duffle cut.
As usual, great job. Seems you are getting very close to the finished project!
Amazing! Always enjoy the updates here. It is very satisfying to see it going back to the original configuration.

Thanks for the update. Looks great so far. Which tasks are left for the full restoration now?
@Badger: any chance to rescue the previously uploaded files by the OP? It seems they are somehow gone,...
Please remember, when reproducting the rear sight for the P.13 rifle, please do two of them. I'd be in need for one of those and I'm happy to of course pay for it :)
At the beginning I thought this would be a project over the winter. With your updates every day I wouldn't be surprised to see a fully restored rifle by Sunday. Wow!
Looking at how professionally these "holes" are at the receiver I would question if I personally would want to remove those. It could very well also had been experimental. Prior to restoring the...
That woodwork is awesome!
From what I am able to understand your rifle currently has a barrel in .303 British in it. Therefore my understanding was that you would not need to replace the barrel,...
I've just had a very good laugh when I scrolled down here and under the field where I enter my post the forum suggested a similar thread. The title reads " Restoring a sporterized P13...". I couldn't...
