found this 1911 LSA at the January RK gun show in springfield, mo. the buttstock indicates an FTR of 04/45. the barrel confirms with a barrel/re-barrel...

my solution... drive the screwdriver through the leather washer (by hand; no pounding) and turn until the screwdriver seats in the slot. remove bolt. my leather washer was all dried up and wasted...

i double-checked the nock's form. it is blank, except for green paint which covers the metal under the wood, and cosmoline -- which covers the green paint. :)
