Was in USAF 1958 THRU 1966 and always had M1's when issued for duty and range. Didn't ever see a M2. Guess that's why I'm here now.

Guys you don't know what you missed by not being able to see this display. It was quite something. Hard to believe he didn't win ? i'm going again in September. It's a great gun show.
Is anyone going to the show up there in Ohio. I'm coming up from Georgia, and really looking forward to seeing Paul Imbragulio's display. Heck might even go to the AF museum.

Paul, I know you want to send me one of those for Christmas ! Thanks in advance.

Wow, these rifles looked like they just came out of the box !!! Very iimpressive. I've seen lots of carbines, but nothing like these. Perfection!
I did see pictures being taken, but didn't take...
Looky here! Finally able to do this as my son-in-law made and gifted me this great rack for Christmas! Now I've gotten my co-worker to put these pics on, and at last am able to show them to you....
Yep, I had one of those in the 50's as well. Seems like they were .50 at the surplus stores then. Mine served me well and the green apple handgrenades!
I won all the time.

Yep, that one on gunbroker in S. Ga for 2000 is a lot cheaper. And it's from Detoliet.
there's a guy down here in S. Georgia asking 2000 for one. Says it's from the Detroilet Police Dept.
I've used Paul Imbragulio. Great success!
His email is m1cc@msn.com
his time zone is a long way from Ca. Closer to South Store probably.
LOL
can't be true. while on guard duty in 1962 during cuban missile crisis we carried M1's. No M2's were available.
