    thanks for that, tried bare bolt, no difference, gave it another clean and no difference. Measured the bolt lugs and mine measure .515 compared to your .503 so potentially thats my issue right there

    Arisaka bolt issue type 38

    I’ve just got hold of this rifle as a restoration project, and I’m having issues with closing the bolt fully down. Even with the receiver out of the stock and the firing pin and ejector removes it...
