2 03's in the higgins boat.
I'm struck by how nice the Road, curb and sidewalks are constructed. Looks like high end stuff in today's terms. And the birds must like to land on the top of the poles a lot. The more I look at...
Yeah, lots of 03's. I was thinking Africa too.
Wasn't that one the other day, with the bazooka guy in a foxhole a dup too? But the weird thing is, I remember seeing it opposite.
I can't imagine how bad a truck that was burnt and still smoking must've smelled.
For some reason condoms didn't dawn on me until someone mentioned it. I thought it looked like one of those...
That's a great picture. Wow.
Good eye!!!
I second that.
Thank you for serving!
Wasn't Audie Murphy in the 99th?
I was going to say the same thing. Thanks for backing up my thinking. The step in the objective bell is more sharp than the weavers that I have seen or accustomed to, also. But yeah, it's way long...
That mount is really far forward. Interesting. And no rear sight.
Is he US Army or Aussie?
Oops, I should've read the caption. Not sure if that pic is what is in the OP, because I can't...
Wow! That is really cool!
[QUOTE=fjruple;278678]Damn-- Those are some homily looking ladies. Those are the kind of girls I remember growing up.

But there is something very endearing about them...
So artfully written!
LOL, I'd love to show up to Church with that thing. Or something like that.
Well it doesn't really look like a combat pic to me. So maybe blanks or just cycling the action the snap in.
Maybe it's spring and the snows melting. And moreso by the buildings. Look how wet it is.
Ewwwww.
Either way, a lot of people died go up against it. So.... it might not have been all that strategic, and effective, but still deadly on some level. Just like the wall at the beaches. ...
An FMJ bullet works well. As someone has already said. Well, I guess I should say a cartridge with an FMJ bullet.
Great report!!! Great carbine. It's a cool round. I just don't handload and I have a small stash of 5.56. I guess I need to shoot some of it. Or buy some new stuff. I think you can get it now...
Yeah, I love seeing them!
Maybe so, but from my readings, a lot of GI's lost their lives assualting some of those static defenses. In the overall scope of war they might be "useless". But they sure slowed us down some.
Which the germans used a lot of.
Yep. Definitely movie stuff.
