they are cheaply made, but they came with a razor sharp edge, and havent rusted.

shooting surplus rifles in seated supported with a bandolier of surplus ammo is one of my favorites hobbys.

the range has steel plates out to 300 yards....no need to do range walks....

to me the s&W is a victory model...has a V before the serial number 59xxxx, on the cylinder as well and US properity stamped on top frame.

the short barrel is what caught my eye....

i did have problems with the leather handled m1 carbine bayos...leather was mildewed and caused rust. i will clean those up...

just pulled this out the back of the safe. dont know much about it, but numbers match, the scope mount and stock does but not the scope it self
